Brilliant. A viewpoint that reminds us to pay close attention to our food consumption choices that can also apply to all consumption. Thank you for writing this. A great reminder.

In a similar way, I used Mindfulness to quit smoking. I try to use it for emotional regulation, but that is a daily battle :) Food for me has all the same qualities as the addictive nature of nicotine. Same kind of mindless action that when you pay attention you find is rooted in some kind of avoidance.
